Governor Beebe has appointed Arkansas Bar Foundation Professor Lynn Foster and alumna Elisa White ('97) as two of the new members on the Commission on Uniform State Laws. Elisa White is a Vice President and General Counsel for the Arkansas Hospital Association. They are the first two women commissioners ever appointed from Arkansas. Part of their service will include representing the state of Arkansas at the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws ("NCCUSL"), which meets annually. NCCUSL was formed in 1892 to work for the uniformity of state laws.
