Bowen Trial Team On Its Way to Nationals
Bowen Law students Kristin Bryant Bell, Chris Givens, and Molly Sullivan have won the regional competition of the National Trial Competition. Their success at the regional level brings the opportunity to compete in the Nationals in San Antonio in late March.
Only two of eighteen teams competing at regional, representing nine law schools from Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado and Kansas, won a chance to compete at Nationals.
Kristin, Chris, and Molly competed in three qualifying rounds and were one of eight teams to make the cut to elimination rounds. They defeated the University of Colorado on Saturday morning and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville on Saturday afternoon to win their top spot. This victory represents a big honor for our law school and the excellent students who attend the UALR Bowen School of Law.
