Bowen Faculty & Staff Top List in Gifts to UALR
Dean John DiPippa and the entire faculty and staff at the William H. Bowen School of Law deserves congratulations for again leading all UALR academic units in giving participation in the 2008 Campus Giving Campaign.
By the end of 2008, the annual giving appeal pushed Bowen Law’s participation to 78%! Put another way, 78 per cent of the faculty and staff made financial contributions to the campus in 2008. The efforts of the Law School's employees helped the campus reach another record year in giving participation, a year where 53% of all faculty and staff provided financial resources to campus programs.
What makes this number remarkable is that it is double the 26% national average of reporting institutions. This dedication to UALR and the Law School continues to send a strong message to our graduates and friends that Bowen is worthy of exemplary private support!
