More than 200 graduates and friends of the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law greeted each other as well as faculty and staff members at the law school’s annual Law Alumni Holiday Reception the evening of December 11. For the first time, the event was held at downtown historic site Trapnall Hall, where a 15-foot tree, wreaths and garlands, and dozens of poinsettias marked the season and enlivened an already lively packed house.
Wonderful food and drink, the rekindling of old and making of new friendships, and the company of a few current law students taking a short break from finals made the evening special. Two partners from a downtown firm laughed together and said it was their first chance for an informal visit with one another in months! Alumni Board President David Sterling and Associate Dean Felecia Epps served as hosts of the event.
