
Joel M. DiPippa, Class of 2003, has been named the 2008 recipient of the Arkansas Bar Association Government Practice Award. The award is presented to the Government Attorney of the Year, chosen by the ABA Government Practice Section. Members vote for the government attorney they judge to be most accomplished and capable. Joel is a member of the ABA House of Delegates.
The award was presented to Joel in October at the 10th Annual Government Practice Institute, held at the Bowen School in the Friday Courtroom. His father, Interim Dean John M.A. DiPippa, was present to congratulate his son after the presentation.
Joel is an attorney in the Office of Revenue Legal Counsel for the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration. He serves in an adjunct position at the law school, teaching Moot Court Competition, and he also has taught Cyberlaw at Bowen.
